Fabulous Maldives Cruise

These 10 days on Dhoni stella 2 have been fabulous.
Kaathee's food, Suleiman's kindness, Aju's humour and the Captain's professionalism made each day extraordinary.
Accustomed to private cruises, this is by far the best stay we have ever had.
From breakfast to bedtime, the crew is always there to suggest an activity or to help you discover the beauty of the Maldives. Abandoned beach, snorkeling, diving, BBQ, whaleshark... Everything was absolutely perfect. Evening fishing at the back of the Dhoni and the pleasure of tasting the fish caught was pure happiness. Aju's presence on the boat is a real plus: Dive briefing the day before, debriefing after the dives, selection of the best spots for snorkeling, all this while avoiding the crowd, what a delight.
We would like to thank Jérômefor his availability and his good advice in the organization of our trip and all the crew for all these excellent moments spent together.

Best parts:The adorable crew and the charm of the boat.

We are delighted

We are delighted with our trip on the Dhoni Stella. The boat's perfect, the crew's on top. We ate really well, we fished and ate our peach. The days were punctuated by snorkelling where we were able to swim with multicoloured fish, turtles, sharks, rays and for the last day dolphins. There's nothing wrong with this trip. He was perfect.

Best parts:Crew at the top, superb boat
Worst parts:Just to say something, it would have been nice if someone spoke French.

A dream private cruise in the Maldives!

We had the idea of taking a private cruise on the Dhoni Stellaby listening to our friends tell us about their wonderful trip.
The first email contacts with Jerome were very enriching with an answer to our little practical questions. It was reassuring to have a Frenchman who knows the Maldives at your fingertips to concoct a tailor-made programme for you, as this was our first trip to that country.
The boat's crew has been very professional, adapting the activities according to the weather, so that we can make the most of the good weather.
With our 2 children, this trip is memorable with custom snorkeling so that we can see everything: turtles, manta rays, schools of fish, sharks (very nice, not even scared), dolphins (at the surface)... We followed a whale shark for 45 minutes, they were there just for us, thanks Nasru for the spotting. We've always been alone at anchor in places the captain likes. We all caught the fish that Kumar (super chef) used to prepare for us both in sashimi and cooked to perfection. And I'm not telling you about the evening on a desert island, just for us... to do again as soon as possible. Thanks to the whole team and good luck!

Best parts:the boat is super beautiful and comfortable, the crew very warm, we're at home, we feel too good!
Worst parts:one week is too short...

Nice cruise on the Stella I

We really liked the standing of the boat (Dhoni Stella I) as well as the extreme benevolence of the whole crew, who took care of us during the whole cruise.
Great weather, very calm sea and lots of fish to snorkel.
We are very satisfied with our trip.
Congratulations to cook Kumar, who treated us so well.

Unforgettable

We left early February 2019 with Sous l'Ocean for a private 8 day cruise in the Maldives. The sun was shining and the snorkeling spots were beautiful. We were able to enjoy virgin islands all to ourselves, swimming with turtles, mantas and sharks thanks to the captain's attentive listening. Birthday by candlelight on a small island lost in the ocean: giant!

The memory will remain unforgettable, to be made and redone.

Small flat: The visit of two inhabited islands does not present any major interest (minimalist architecture and shops of postcards and shells). The visit of only one island is enough to make a visit to the whole of the island.

Apart from that minor remark, this cruise was memorable.

Best parts:the snorkeling spots, the meals (thanks to the Chef), the evening on a desert island
Worst parts:the visit of the villages which does not represent a lot of interest

We'll be back...

Ideal private cruise for our family with our 2 children (11 and 14 years old). The crew of the Dhoni Stella is professional and very friendly. The welcome is warm and the activities very well organized. By specifying before arrival the style of cuisine we liked as well as the drinks, we were enchanted by the catering on board of the Dhoni Stella. For us, it was local cuisine (not too spicy for our children) and fresh fish. The "Chef" is a master in the preparation of the raw fish that we caught with the family with the precious help of the sailors.

The reefs for snorkeling and dive sites (we were lucky enough to spend 1 hour with manta rays around us) were very beautiful. Especially when you're the only boat. The lagoons chosen for them nightswere very quiet and very pleasant.

Our only desire is to go back another time with the same formula but maybe for a longer period of time...

Perfect stay

Many thanks to those Jérômewho took their time with the many questions we had.

The stay was just perfect with a top-notch crew. The key word on the comments of the Maldivian stays is often "dream" is well for this stay the word does not exist.

This is our third visit to the Maldives and we are no longer planning to leave in any other way than this formula.

This is the first time I have commented on a stay on the internet but with an experience like this and a professionalism like this, we can only agree.
